Honorary Captain for the Reds up for Cook on July 17Autographs at Wyler’s Batavia Eastgate Auto Mall to Open Day Terry Cook will kick off a busy Kentucky Speedway racing weekend with a couple of appearances in his owner’s home town. Cook, driver of the No.60 Wyler.com Toyota Tundra, will make an appearance at the Jeff Wyler Eastgate Auto Mall to sign autographs for company employees and customers from 11:30 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. on Thursday July 17. Following the appearance at the Eastgate Auto Mall, Cook will make his way to Great American Ballpark and serve as an Honorary Captain for the hometown Cincinnati Reds as they play the New York Mets. Game time is set for 7 P.M. “I am really excited to go to the Eastgate Auto Mall and meet all of the wonderful Wyler employees,” Cook said. “Right now we are sponsored by Wyler.com, so these are the people that are helping us get out on the track and fight for wins. I hope we have a nice turnout of Wyler customers and race fans too. We’ll have a show truck there so people can get their pictures taken with me and the race truck too.” Cook is also looking forward to stepping onto the playing field in his role as Honorary Captain for the Reds. “You better believe I am taking it seriously,” Cook said with a laugh. “It might be all I do is pass out bubble gum to the team in the dugout, but if that’s it I am going to be all over it. Actually I think the biggest part of my job is going to be presenting the starting lineup to the umpires before the game. Once we get that done, I think we get to kick back and have some fun with the team. But if they need me to get anything done, I’ll jump to it. It should be a lot of fun there too, we’ll have a lot of Wyler employees there and there are always a lot of NASCAR officials and other team members that come to the game. It’s something I am really looking forward to.” The Jeff Wyler Eastgate Auto Mall is located at 1117 State Route 32 in Batavia, Ohio, just east of Cincinnati.
