Tom Buzze has been in racing his whole life. Beginning as a teenager, Buzze successfully ran dirt cars in upstate New York. Since making the move from the driver’s seat a few years later, Buzze has worked almost every job in the sport, including mechanic, gear and transmission builder, crew chief and general manager. Continuing to learn not only about racing itself, but about how to build a winning race team that can go out each week, be competitive, and ultimately make it to victory lane, Buzze now spends his time overseeing the day-to-day operations that make going out and racing each week possible for Wyler Racing’s No. 60 team.

Prior to 1993, Buzze worked with various teams in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series, including working with three-time Sprint Cup Champion Darrel Waltrip. From 1993 until 2005, Buzze worked with Gear and Training Suppliers providing parts and services to each of NASCAR’s top-three series. Prior to joining Wyler Racing, Buzze served as general manager for Southpoint Racing’s No. 77 Camping World Truck Series entry in 2006.

With his positive attitude, it is no wonder that Wyler Racing brought Buzze on-board in late 2007 to take over duties as general manager for the No. 60 Wyler Racing Toyota Tundra team helping to guide and prepare the team as they battle for the 2009 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Championship with driver Stacy Compton.
